The Daviess County Health Department is hard at work preparing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Good Samaritan hospital i Vincennes has already received the vaccine and has been distributing it to healthcare workers in and around the area. Daviess County is set to receive the Moderna vaccine around January 11th, however, how much of the vaccine Daviess will receive has yet to be determined, Kellie Streeter with Daviess County Health Department explains….

Kellie Streeter went on to say they are preparing to receive a large number of vaccines in order to plan accordingly. Once the Health Department receives the vaccine, they plan to distribute it off site, in a safe area, with plenty of room to social distance.
