Beverly D. Thomas, passed away at her residence at 6:29 pm on Monday, December, 21, 2020. Bev was born in Frankfort, IN on November 6, 1942 the daughter of Joe and Lucy (Patmore) Stephens. She married Marshall E. Thomas on July 20, 1963 and he preceded her in death on December 28, 2020.
Bev was a homemaker and a member of Christ Community Church. Her most cherished activity was watching her children and grandchildren participate in their sporting events or whatever activity they were involved with.
Survivors include her children, Charlie Thomas and his wife Janet of Vincennes, Greg Thomas of Chicago, daughter, Cindy Thomas of Monroe City; sister, Sandra Hunter of Evansville; her grandchildren, Zach Thomas, Leah Thomas, Meagan Walk, Branden Updike, Kiersten Stephens, and six great grandchildren. Bev was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Marshall.
Friends may visit with Bev’s family from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes. The family will have a private funeral service and Bev will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery next to her husband Marshall.
