A couple was arrested on drug charges yesterday morning in Knox County. On Monday around 9:00am, Indiana State Police and the Knox County Sheriff’s Office set out to execute an arrest warrant on 38-year-old Nicole Benson who was wanted for theft. Upon entering the residence, located at 104 Park Avenue in Oaktown, officers saw a meth pipe in plain view. A further search of the residence revealed 76 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 9.5 grams of psychedelic mushrooms, 164 grams of marijuana and dozens of various legend drugs. Benson and her boyfriend 32-year-old Stanley Eck were arrested and taken to the Knox County Jail.
