The Daviess County Health Department released the latest COVID-19 numbers yesterday. On Monday, the Health Department reported 45 more cases of the virus in Daviess County. That brings the total case count sine April to 2,122. In addition, one more death was also reported bringing the total number of COVID-19 deaths in the community to 63. Over 9,400 people have been tested in the county to date. Daviess, in addition to Knox, Dubois, and Pike is still in the “red” on the ISDH map. Overall, daily case numbers have been decreasing slightly across the board.
