According to Fox 59, several Indiana counties will see income tax rate increases starting at the first of the year. The tax rates affect businesses with employees who live or work in any of the counties and who have income tax withholding’s. County tax rates for residents are based on their county of residence as of January 1, 2021. Taxes are also determined by local governing officials. Martin County will see a tax increase of 0.025 from .0175. Owen, Randolph, Shelby, Union, and Switzerland Counties will also see tax increases.
