Police have made three arrests in connection to the string of robberies than began on November 22nd. The robberies took place at hotels & convenience stores, in Marshall, and Mt. Carmel, Illinois and in Terre Haute and Sullivan, Indiana. Police have three suspects in custody. They are all from Oaktown. The first is 38-year-old Steven Williams who was arrested last week. He was arrested for theft of a vehicle. Police believe this was the same vehicle that was used in the robberies. The second is 38-year-old Tangela Winemiller who was arrested at a Hucks gas station earlier this week. The third suspect is 31-year-old Amber Nunley who was also arrested earlier this week. All suspects face 5 counts of armed robbery and Nunley also faces 3 counts of Pointing a Firearm.
