Longtime Cardinal pitcher Adam Wainwright has been given the annual Roberto Clemente Award by Major League Baseball for community involvement and philanthropy. The 39-year old has spent all 15 seasons with St Louis and is a free agent this year. He is a three time all star with a career record of 167-98 and a 3.38 ERA. The award is usually announced during the World Series but was delayed this year due to the pandemic.
