Royal R. Goodwin, 93, of Vincennes, passed away Monday, December 2, 2020 at BridgePointe Health Campus.
He was born July 10, 1927 in Vincennes, Indiana to Royal C. and Anna (Waters) Goodwin.
Royal retired as Assistant Postmaster and had owned Standard Service Station. He served his country in the Navy and was a member of the Franklin Heights Christian Church.
Surviving are his brother Bruce Goodwin of Raleigh, NC, and his nieces and nephews Brett Goodwin, Brian Goodwin, Debra Davis, Karen Wilber, Carolyn Hanson, Rose Geis, and Ann Kimmel.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Marie (Rumer) Goodwin whom he married July 31, 1949 and preceded him on November 23, 2020.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Ray Tromley officiating. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Royal Goodwin.
