In a rare Wednesday matinee NFL match up yesterday, the Baltimore Ravens fell to unbeaten Pittsburgh 19-14.  After the game several Ravens expressed their concerns about the leagues safety of the players after at least one player from the Ravens had tested positive the last ten days.  Baltimore played without starting quarterback Lamar Jackson and several other key players and had very little preparation time due to the facility being shutdown this week.
The Chicago Bears have announced they are sticking with quarterback Mitch Trubisky this week in their match up with Detroit.  Trubisky was back in the line up last week against Green Bay after Nick Foles was rendered ineligible due to a hip injury.
In Baseball news, the Chicago Cubs made Kyle Schwarber a free agent while tendering contracts to Kris Bryant, Javy Baez, and Wilson Contreras.  Schwarber was in his final year of arbitration but the team let him go yesterday rather than offer 8-9 million.  The Cubs have not ruled out bringing him back for a lesser deal.
Los Angeles Lakers star Lebron James agreed to a two year $85-million dollar extension yesterday.  The break down means Lebron will earn $82 dollars per minute and $4,891 per hour for the next two years.  He will be 38 years old when the contract ends.
College hoops, #2 Baylor defeated #5 Illinois 82-69
The Hoosiers improved to 3 and 1 with a 79-63 win over Stanford at the Maui Invitational.
Texas edged out North Carolina in nail biter 69-67
Gonzaga held off West Virginia 89-82
