A 19-year-old from Jasper is in jail after police found a large amount of drugs in his vehicle. Kaden Steinhart was pulled over Saturday in Jasper after a woman called 911 to report her car was being followed. A Dubois County Sheriff’s deputy thought Steinhart might be under the influence. During a search of his car, police found ecstasy, morphine, oxycodone, marijuana, Xanax, a scale, and nearly $1,000 in cash. Police also found a loaded handgun. Steinhart faces multiple charges, including dealing in a controlled substance.
