The Gibson County Sheriff’s Department arrested an Oakland City woman Friday night. 39-year-old Ashley Heck was arrested after an altercation on West Morton Street in Oakland City. The altercation sent one person to the hospital for treatment of a head injury. Heck was charged with Battery Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury. She was booked into the Gibson County Jail on a $750 bond.
