A Jasper woman is in jail for Attempted Voluntary Manslaughter. Police say 25-year-old Gina Kieffner allegedly cut a man’s neck with a knife after a dispute on Thanksgiving. She was arrested by Jasper Police early Friday morning after police were called to Memorial Hospital where the man was being treated for his injuries. The domestic dispute occurred at 327 West Ninth Street in Jasper. No other details have been released. Kieffner is being charged with Attempted Voluntary Manslaughter, Domestic Battery, Aggravated Battery, Battery, and Criminal Recklessness.
