Loogootee will host the Loughmiller Classic Boys Basketball tournament tomorrow at Jack Butcher Arena. Game one has Loogootee playing Evansville Day School at 10am, then it’s Rock Creek Academy vs Trinity Lutheran at noon. The consolation game returns at 5pm, and the championship is tomorrow night at 7pm.

Tell City is the latest school to suspend all athletic events through December 13th. So the Washington vs Tell City girls game on December 12th has now been postponed.
Two of boxing’s iconic figures are finally going to lock horns tomorrow night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Former undisputed heavyweight champion Mike Tyson will go against former four-division world champion Roy Jones Jr. the event will be an 8-round exhibition fight. Tyson is 50-6 with 44 knock-outs, while Jones comes in at 66-9 with 47 knock outs. The event is available on pay per view for $49.99 and will feature several other fights on the card. The two for the main event are set to begin at around 11pm on Saturday.
The Baltimore vs Pittsburgh match up last night in the NFL was postponed due to COVID as Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson is the latest to test positive for the virus. The rematch now set for Sunday is in jeopardy as coach John Harbaugh has ordered his team to stay away from the team facility until Monday at the earliest for the safety of players and staff. Jackson is among four other Ravens players and one staff member to test positive yesterday. That puts the number up to a dozen Baltimore players who have tested positive this week.
The Dallas Cowboys suffered their second worst loss of the season falling to Washington at AT&T Stadium yesterday 41-16. The Cowboys were playing after learning less than 24 hours before game time their strength and training coach Markus Paul had passed away at his weight room office after being rushed to a local hospital.
Houston Quarterback DeShaun Watson made it look easy with four touchdown passes as the Texans cruised to a big Thanksgiving win over Detroit 42-25. Both teams are now 4-7.
Number 2 Notre Dame takes a 14 game winning streak dating back to last year up against number 19 North Carolina today in a pivotal ACC match-up. The Irish are 8-0 while the Tar Heels come in at 6-2. This is considered the toughest game remaining on Notre Dame’s schedule this year. Notre dame is a 7 1/2 point favorite and kick off is set for 3:30pm.
The USC vs Colorado game scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled due to COVID. The game will be declared a no contest. Colorado will now instead host San Diego State tomorrow.
In College Hoops, #3 Villanova upended #18 Arizona State for the championship of the Empire Classic last night 83-74.
The Colorado Rockies and Cincinnati Reds swapped three pitchers in a four player trade this week. The deal involved right hander Robert Stephenson and minor league outfielder Jameson Hannah from the Reds for right hander Jeff Hoffman and minor leaguer Case Williams from the Rockies.
