Cops & Kids is still set to happen this year. This is the 30th year for the organization sponsored by the Fraternal Order of Police lodge 101. For the last three decades, men and woman from local and state law enforcement, the courts, fire departments, and DNR have volunteered to purchase Christmas gifts for the Headstart children of Daviess and Martin Counties. There is still time to donate. Donations will be accepted by mail or in person at the Police and Sheriff’s Departments in Daviess and Martin Counties.
