The Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs (IDVA) says Veterans Day is a chance to reflect on the sacrifices of those who have served the United States. Many services were held all over the country yesterday honoring veterans. There was a service at the Daviess County Court House steps yesterday at 11am. Community leaders and volunteers took time to honor and recognize the veterans that attended. They also recognized many of the local POW’s that never returned home.
