Mrs. Carolyn Kay Schnarr, 81 of Montgomery, went to her heavenly home on Monday, November 9, 2020.
Carolyn was born in Washington to the late Blake McClellan and Edith Horrall McClellan.
Carolyn was a 1958 graduate of Washington High School, and devoted member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She married her beloved husband Gilbert D. Schnarr on January 25, 1959 and they shared nearly 62 wonderful years together. Carolyn was he first lady to be the President of the Eagle’s Auxiliary and was also a member of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed embroidering and quilting baby qulits in her free time and spending time with her family.
Carolyn is survived by; her loving husband, Gilbert D. Schnarr; children, Donna Stone; Marshall Schnarr (Alice), and Ray Schnarr (Kim); grandchildren; Logan Schnarr, Tyler Schnarr, Derick Schnarr, and Andrew Stone.
She was preceded in death by; her parents; son, Maurice Schnarr; son-in-law, Mike; sisters, Esther Mae Tegmeyer and Judith McClellan; and brothers, Blake McClellan Jr., and Ronald McClellan.
There will be a visitation on Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 9:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. with a service immediately following, officiated by Rev. Roy Ice. Burial will follow in Oakgrove Cemetery, Reeves Township. You may leave an online condolence at www.gillsince1872.com.
