The Indianapolis Colts return to the practice Wednesday after their bye week. The Colts are 4-2 and will face the 3-3 Lions Sunday in Detroit. Indianapolis hopes to get linebacker Darius Leonard back after he missed the last two games with a groin injury. Leonard was listed as the starting linebacker on the team’s preliminary depth chart Tuesday. The Colts released linebacker Najee Goode from the practice squad and signed cornerback Will Sunderland Tuesday.
The resumption of the NASCAR Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway was postponed once again Tuesday due to rain. NASCAR will try to resume the race Wednesday at 3 p.m. Eastern after mist and rain continued Tuesday. The forecast in Fort Worth, Texas calls for rain throughout the morning and early afternoon with a high of 48 degrees. Clint Bowyer will restart from the lead after 52 of 334 laps.
