Marilyn Mallett Slatton, 85 of Elnora, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, October 25, 2020.
Marilyn was born in Big Epsom, IN on August 6, 1935 to the late Bernard Mallett and Lola Wagner Mallett.
Marilyn was a devoted member of Parkview Christian Church and cherished her church family. She enjoyed gardening, yard work, and spending time with her beloved nieces and nephews. Marilyn worked as a hairdresser in surrounding areas for many years and always took great pride in caring for her client’s needs; she retired from Wright’s Beauty Shop. Marilyn was always ready to help anyone in any way that she could and was a warm and kindhearted woman that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She leaves behind; a brother, Bernerd “Bud” Mallett; nieces, Susan Myers (Jeff) of Worthington, Darla Jo Trueblood of Plainville; nephews, Rick Bechtel (Cindy) of Edinburgh, Craig Bechtel (Leanna) of Jasper, and David Mallett (Angie) of Plainville.
Marilyn was preceded in death by; her parents; and her loving husband, William Slatton on February 11, 2014.
