Jack Nickless, 79, of Washington, passed away on Saturday October 10, 2020.
He was born December 31, 1940 in Lawrenceville County to Herschel & Ruth Robinson Nickless. Jack married Mary Friesenhengst on March 17, 1989, & she survives.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, stepmother, siblings: Maxine Luttrell, Mary Wright Ford, June Smith, Patty Roberts, & Robert Nickless.
He was a 1960 graduate of Oolitic High School. His memberships include: Loogootee United Methodist Church, Grand Lodge Mason, Scottish Rite Shriner, American Legion Post 120, 20th Century Chevy Car Club, years where he was supervisor over Material Handler.
Jack enjoyed golf, street rods, restoring his ’36 Chevy, & Karaoke. He was a US Air Force Veteran proudly serving in Guam.
Survivors include wide, Mary, sons Jeff (Becky) Nickless, Aaron (Deb) Rhoads, Bryan (Kristin) Rhoads, daughter Michele (Rob) Ellis; sister Gail Fish; grandchildren: Tyler (Kayleigh) Nickless, Mason Ellis, Fletcher (Spencer) Rhoads, Chandler (Kaylee) Rhoads, Cooper (Margaret) Rhoads, Ellie (Jeff) Hojnacki, Alec & Austen Rhoads; great grandchildren; Aria & Kadence Hendrix, & Ryan & Corbin Rhoads.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday October 17, 2020, from 9-11:00 am until the time of service at 11:00 at the Loogootee United Methodist Church at 208 W. Main St. Loogootee, Indiana 47553.
