Washington City Council to Consider 2021 Tax Rate

The Washington City Council will meet for its regular session Monday evening at 6:30 p.m. at the Council Chambers at Harned Avenue and East Second Street.  Prior to the meeting the Council will conduct a public hearing on next year’s proposed appropriations and tax rate for the City of Washington.  On the Council’s agenda is a discussion of Trick or Treating and Halloween Safe Stops along with action on setting the City’s tax rate for next year.  Following the Council meeting, the Board of Works and Safety will meet and consider requests for signage on three Washington area streets.
