A judge from Southwest Indiana has been killed in a plane crash in Illinois. Knox County Superior Judge Ryan Johanningsmeier was the pilot of the small plane. He was also the only person on board, says the Sheriff’s office in Sullivan County. The wreckage was discovered north of the Lawrence County Airport Saturday morning by another pilot. Federal investigators have joined local police inspecting the site.
