Authorities responded to a house fire in Vincennes around 4am this morning. The house was located near the corner of Upper 11th and Sycamore Street. A person was inside the house before fire crews arrived, however, the person was safely assisted outside by officers of the Vincennes Police Department. Fire crews were on the scene for some time putting out the fire. The cause of the fire has not yet been released. The investigation is ongoing.
