It’s unclear what Governor Holcomb plans to do as today is the expiration date for Indiana’s statewide mask mandate. Holcomb is expected to give another coronavirus press event today, as he usually has done every Wednesday since the start of the pandemic. In his mask mandate, which he rolled out last month, Holcomb set an expiration date of August 26th, but that he could extend it if he felt it was necessary. According to numbers from the state health department the overall positivity rate for COVID-19 among Hoosiers is slowly improving.
