Vera L. Linneweber

Vera L. Linneweber, 82, passed away at 5:55 am on Monday, August 24, 2020. Vera was born on May 12, 1938 in Knox County, IN the daughter of Lloyd and Nora (Thais) Witsman. She married Max Linneweber on August 18, 1956 and he preceded her in death on August 6, 2014.

Survivors include her children, Greg Linneweber and his wife Cathy of Vincennes, Lori Reed and her husband Jeff of Washington, Jan Linneweber-Ellerman and her husband Brian of Washington; sister, Pat Brown and her husband David of Vincennes; grandchildren, Travis Linneweber and his wife Megan, Ronelle Linneweber, Tyler Reed and his wife Katie, Nora Brooke Reed and Colton Reed and Kaelani Rae Sandoval and her husband David, Alexander Ellerman; and great grandchildren, Grayson and Lauren Linneweber, Josilyn and Joaquin Max Sandoval. Vera was preceded in death by her husband Max, and her sisters, Phyllis Witsman Lela Worland, Donna DeLisle and Mary Hacker.

Vera was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and managed Betsy’s Hallmark in the 80’s. She also owned and operated LinCo Services, Inc. with her husband Max for thirty-one years. Vera enjoyed traveling and going on long drives. Most importantly though she enjoyed her children and grandchildren and did not miss any event they were involved with.

Friends may visit with Vera’s family on Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 11:00 am until 1:30 pm at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 315 NE 3rd St., Washington, IN 47501. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 on Saturday at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church with Rev. Paul Ferguson and Yvonne Evans celebrating. Vera will be laid to rest in St. John Cemetery next to her husband Max and Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, Washington is honored to assist the Linneweber family with arrangements.
