Starting next Monday, The Indiana Department of Transportation will begin work to place a liner in a drainage structure between Burns City and U.S. 231. Work on will be done during daylight hours and will be performed under flagging operations. Work is expected to last for about three days, but will depend on weather conditions. INDOT advises drivers to be aware of lane restrictions on State Road 645 in northern Martin County. Those driving along this road should try to leave early in order to have extra time to get to where they’re going. INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near road work crews.
