WASHINGTON GRADUATION IS VIRTUAL NOW

Citing the governor’s decision not to open up the state fully due to COVID-19 cases rising and not subsiding enough; Washington High School Principal Steve Peterson announced that graduation for the Washington Senior Class of 2020 will now be a virtual affair.
Previous plans were going to be to have as traditional a ceremony as possible with graduates allowed 10 tickets each, now however the ceremony will be a virtual one with only the graduates present and no audience.    The event will be live streamed on the internet on the school’s YouTube channel WHSH Broadcasting.  It will be available later on Facebook and the school’s website. The ceremony is at 2 on Saturday July 11th.
