Paul E. Potter, 84, of Washington, passed away at 1:00 pm June 25, 2020 at the Villages of Oak Ridge.
He was born May 11, 1936 in Daviess County, Indiana to Bernie and Beulah (Stilwell) Potter.
Paul was a truck driver and had previously owned the Shell and Arco filling stations. In his free time Paul loved going to the casino, visiting with family and friends, and going out to eat.
Surviving are his daughter Sandy Miller and her husband Jeff of Washington; a brother Cecil Potter of Payson, Arizona, half-sister Marilyn Mitchell of Alabama; grandchildren Shyla Miller and Shauna Cassidy; along with his great grandchildren Landon Miller, Arianna Cassidy, Abryella Mattingly, Savannah Cassidy, Eva Cassidy and Kaia Waggoner.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife Shirley (Brochin) Potter whom he married on January 28, 1956 and preceded him on September 9, 2014; a daughter Donetta Potter; a sister Delores Lobeck.
There will be no public services. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Paul E. Potter.
