-Washington Police arrested a local man on meth charges Thursday. 59-year-old Joseph P. Smith of Washington was jailed for Conspiracy to Deal Meth, Possession of Meth and Paraphernalia. He’s also charged with Visiting a Common Nuisance.
-39-year-old Brian T. Searl of Washington was arrested on Thursday for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Marijuana or hash Oil. No bond was set.
-47-year-old Miguel Gelpi Oquendo of Washington was arrested for Operating a Vehicle without Ever Obtaining a License. Bond was set at $2000.
-Emergency teams went to East National Highway address at 3:25 on Thursday morning where someone had been hit by a vehicle. Police reports say the victim was conscious; alert and walking. Police logs went on to state the incident was a domestic situation. The person hit was taken to Daviess Community Hospital.
-Police investigated a shoplifting report at Wal-Mart Thursday afternoon.
-A resident on Mill Street reported a breaking and entering to a shed. The report made last night.
