State Health Emergency extended

(NETWORK INDIANA)    Governor Eric Holcomb is extending Indiana’s public health emergency declared due to the coronavirus pandemic. It will be in effect for 30 more days until July 4th. Executive orders signed by Holcomb yesterday also extend the time period for renewing professional licenses and permits in the state until June 30th. The state will also begin allowing visitors at nursing homes again. Visitors will now be allowed if there are no new coronavirus cases for two weeks at the home, if there is enough PPE, and if everyone is screened before their visit.
