Jackie D. Russell, 60, passed away at 1:42 pm on Friday, May 29, 2020 at his residence. Jackie was born on July 12, 1959 in Washington, IN the son of Jackie and Frances (Cunningham) Russell.
Jackie was a 1977 graduate of Washington High School and served his country in the United States Marine Corp. He coached tee ball for over nineteen years, loved to watch basketball and collected ships and lighthouses.
Survivors include his mother, Frances Russell of Washington; sister, Sandy Russell of Dale City, OK. Pamela Maggard of Georgetown, IN; nephew, David Waltz of Washington, IN, Niece, Megan Stump of Clarksville, IN, great nephew, Tidus Stump and special friend Steve Bowman. Big Jim Carrico’s family is also close friends of Jackie. Jackie was preceded in death by his father.
Private graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Sugarland memory Gardens. For those who will not be able to attend, Jackie’s service will be broadcast live on Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home Facebook page and you will be notified when it goes live.
