Bernard J. Arvin, 68, of Ellettsville, passed away at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, April 28, 2020 at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born November 7, 1951 in Dubois County, Indiana to the late Barbara (Arvin) Freidman.
Bernard was a 1970 graduate of Loogootee High School. He was a United States Army veteran and served overseas during Vietnam. He was a member of the American Legion Post 120. He was an avid motorcycle rider.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara (Arvin) Freidman and son, Nick Arvin.
Bernard is survived by his children, Stephanie (Todd) Allen of Ireland, Chris (Crystal) Arvin of Jasper and Ross Arvin of Ellettsville; grandchildren, Alex, Madison and Hannah Allen and Lilly, Nick, Jake and Matt Arvin.
Cremation was chosen and private graveside services will be held.
