For the first time in several weeks, Ketcham Memorial Nursing Center is Odon is reporting no positive cases of COVID-19 at their facility.
The nursing home was where a major outbreak occurred earlier this spring resulting in well over two dozen cases in residents and staff . 15 of the 17 deaths in Daviess County related to COVID happened at Ketcham.
Currently the nursing home reports a total of 14 residents have recovered since the pandemic began while 15 staff members have also recovered and returned to work. Another staff member has recovered but is not back at work yet. Administrator Kathy Wittmer on a Facebook post last week reported one case at the nursing home, but yesterday she reported that there is no one at the center who has the virus.
