Wilma Haag, 87, of Loogootee, passed away at 8:55 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Brookside Village in Jasper.
She was born December 13, 1932 in Daviess County, Indiana to the late William and Cora (Mattingly) Fitzmaurice.
Wilma enjoyed playing bingo and euchre, but most of all she loved her family. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Cora (Mattingly) Fitzmaurice; daughter, Charlotte Schutz; siblings, Wayne Fitzmaurice and Rita Losey.
Wilma is survived by her children, Donna (Stephen) Kinnaird, Larry (Janet Lannan) Haag, Joan (Dennis) Schutz, Steve (Amy) Haag; 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Glenn (Martha Bullock) Fitzmaurice; many wonderful nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be held Friday, May 22, 2020 at St. John Catholic Cemetery. A rip-roaring celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family is grateful and humbled by the care and affection given to our mother by the staff of Brookside Village.
