Raymond Leo “Lee” Spaulding

Raymond Leo “Lee” Spaulding, 65, of Montgomery, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Deaconess Midtown Hospital in Evansville.

He was born October 18, 1954 in Washington, Indiana to the late Jack and Rose W. (Duncheon) Spaulding.

Lee was a 1973 graduate of Barr-Reeve High School. He was a member of the Montgomery Ruritan. Lee was a hard worker and was previously employed by Solar Sources as a supervisor. He currently was employed by the Daviess County Landfill and had been the District Director for 24 years. He loved people, laughing and family gatherings. He enjoyed playing golf, Cincinnati Reds baseball and watching NASCAR.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jackson Spaulding; parents, Jack and Rose W. (Duncheon) Spaulding; uncles, Robert Spaulding and William Spaulding.

Lee is survived by his girlfriend, Jacquelyn Cost; siblings, Susan (Calvin) Persohn, Robert (Nancy) Spaulding, Barbara (Virgil) Knepp, Linda Riggins and Glenn Spaulding; uncle, John (Flo) Spaulding; and many nieces and nephews.

A private family service will be held. Due to COVID-19 concerns, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
