A lawsuit attempting to secure refunds for college students is moving forward, but one Hoosier college isn’t buying their cause.
A spokesman for Purdue University calls the nationwide lawsuit is a “money grab”, claiming the lawyer is attempting to “profit from this unprecedented public health crisis.” Some students from Purdue University are apart of the lawsuit, whose goal is for students to receive refunds for classes that were moved online due to the coronavirus pandemic. Several other Indiana colleges say they have heard from their own students regarding class refunds.
