More COVID-19 cases and more deaths reported in Daviess County on Sunday. The Health Department reports that the patients have been placed in quarantine and due to privacy laws no other details were released. As of Sunday evening there have been 54 reported cases in Daviess County and 17 deaths. The majority of the county’s cases and deaths have been at Ketcham Memorial Nursing Center in Odon. On Friday the nursing home gave an update saying that 10 residents were positive and were in quarantine. Four residents have recovered and 1 was in the hospital. There have been 14 COVID related deaths at the nursing home. Five staff members were positive for the virus and were in self isolation. Two others had recovered and returned to work.
