No new cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed at this time involving Knox County residents. One previously diagnosed patient has recovered and was released from home quarantine this morning, leaving four actively quarantined Knox county patients. However, one of those four is expected to be released from quarantine tomorrow, one on Sunday and two next week. Recovered patients are being advised to remain socially distant from others as a precaution.
Meanwhile, meetings between businesses and the Chamber of Commerce are beginning today and will continue tomorrow. Any local business can take advantage of these meetings without being a Chamber member. It’s all in an effort to help the community reopen safely, just as soon as the state and local authorities allow for reopening.
