The Washington Times Herald Newspaper has announced they will be cutting publishing from five to three days per week.  The paper currently publishes Tuesday through Saturday, in their letter to readers on the front page today they say they will go to a Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday schedule cutting the Wednesday and Friday editions.

The actions is a result of a drop in advertising because of the economic downturn in the wake of the shutdowns and slowdowns that have taken place to prevent the spread. The newspaper is one of many across the state that have had to decrease publishing or even stop publishing altogether

The newspaper says readers will still have access to news, sports and features 24/7 daily on their website and through digital subscriptions.  For information on digital subscriptions you can contact the newspaper at 812-254-0480.
