A gas station owner has apologized after an Asian man was thrown out of a Marathon in Martinsville. The man said a clerk behind the counter asked him if he was Chinese and then told him to leave. He suspects he was thrown out because of fears about the spread of coronavirus. The owner called WISH-TV, who first reported the story, and apologized for the incident saying that the clerk responsible for the incident no longer works at the gas station. He said if social distancing allowed it, he would like to speak directly to the man who was thrown out to apologize.
