Vaneda Eva Hinkle 88, of Washington, went to her heavenly home on Monday, March 30, 2020 while at Daviess Community Hospital.
Vaneda was born in Washington on July 13, 1931 to the late Glenn Freyberger and Dena Freyberger.
Vaneda was a member of New Hope Christian Church and enjoyed fellowship with her church family. She was formerly employed by Crane and also as a bookkeeper for Hinkle Trucking. Vaneda was an avid gardener who would also can much of what she grew; she also liked to watch I.U. play basketball and watch Nascar races. Vaneda was a 1949 graduate of Alfordsville Highschool and grew up in that area.
Vaneda leaves behind; her three sons, which she thought the world of, Larry Hinkle (Barb), Richard E. Hinkle, and David Hinkle (Julie).
She was preceded in death by; her beloved husband, Harold E. Hinkle; Rich’s companion, Gay Ann Martin; and a sister, Charlotte Simbolick.
Gill Funeral Home is honored to assist the Hinkle family with their arrangements. Due to COVID-19 the arrangements are private.
