INDOT is scheduled to start some work on US 50 near Shoals and on 257 on some bridges in Pike County.

Today, the west lane at Rama Dye Road near Shoals will be closed for patching and overlay on the Beech Creek Bridge.   Work will be dependent on weather.  When the west lane is complete they will start on the east lane.  The closures will be 24/7.  Work is expected to last through mid-June.

Earlier this month INDOT contractors started working on the bridge spanning the White river on 257 between Washington and Otwell, but due to heavy rains and flooding the project was stopped.   Because of that two other projects are slated to start today.  One lane of 257 is set to be closed over Flat Creek near Velpen and the 257 Bridge over the Patoka at Pikeville is also set to be closed to one lane.  The crews will be patching and repaving.  Work is expected to last a month depending on weather.  One lane will be open at all times.

State Road 257 at the Pike/Daviess County line is open.  It was reopened last night after being closed due to flood waters.
