Interior work to start again soon at the annex

The Daviess County Commissioners on Tuesday formally accepted a bid from Danco Construction of Evansville to finish the work on the interior of the new Daviess County Government Center.  A bid of $572,020 was accepted.  The final agreement will be signed soon according to the Owner’s Representative Mike Shapker who gave his regular update of the annex at the meeting on Tuesday.  Shapker and the commissioners said the project should still be on budget.  A pre-construction meeting will be held March 23rd and Danco should start their work that same week.   Work on the inside of has been halted since fall due to the issues with a previous contractor.
