Two men were jailed after a police chase in Pike and Daviess Counties last night.

As reported earlier today, 24-year-old Benjamin Harrison of Miami, Florida and 23-year-old Jason Joseph of Washington were both charged with Resisting Law Enforcement.  Harrison was also charged with Reckless Driving.

The charges stem from an incident where Harrison is said to have been driving a 2014 Jaguar at 116 miles an hour on I-69 in Pike County at the 51 mile marker.  The trooper who clocked him attempted a stop and a chase ensued with speeds reaching 150 miles an hour.  Harrison lost control when he exited I69 at the Washington off ramp and hit a concrete wall.  Both Harrison and Joseph, his passenger, fled on foot.  After a short foot chase, Harrison was caught by the trooper.  Joseph was later caught in a field northwest of I69 at near the exit ramp with the assistance of Washington PD and their K9 unit, and the Daviess County Sheriff’s Department.
