Most Indiana schools are average

About 85 percent of public schools in Indiana are getting a C or better on the latest state report card. The Indiana State Board of Education released the report cards yesterday. About a third of schools earned an A grade. About a third of schools earned a B grade. Those that didn’t don’t have to worry about being punished for their poor performance. Lawmakers voted to hold schools harmless because of issues with the state’s standardized test. You can find your child’s school grade at the State Board’s website.
