This Friday there’ll be a sobriety checkpoint conducted by Indiana State Police sometime and somewhere in Dubois County. The location was identified as an area where a high number of alcohol related crashes have occurred.
Motorists should have their driver’s license and vehicle registration available when entering the checkpoint so that the delay won’t be too long.
The reason for the checkpoint is to reduce the number of alcohol related crashes by targeting impaired drivers
