If you or someone you know has college in their future, and they attended Head Start, Pace Community Action Agency has scholarships available for former Head Start Students in the area.
The Judith K. Bobe Scholarship is for the former students who attended Head Start in Daviess, Knox, Greene or Sullivan Counties.
Two $500 scholarships have been given out in the past. Applications are available from local high schools and the PACE website. www.pacecaa.org
Applicants have to type an essay on the impact that Head Start made in their school readiness and academic performance. Materials are due in to PACE by March 27th.
