Down in Spencer County one person is dead and another charged with Murder.
ISP responded to a report of a shooting in Rockport at 8:30 local time last night. Arriving on scene, troopers, and officers from the Rockport City Police and Spencer County Sheriff’s Department found a person shot and life saving measures were implemented until EMS teams arrived. However, the victim died. He was 18-year-old Zane Lee of Rockport.
During the course of the investigation, state police report that 19-year-old Joseph Allen Petry of Rockport was arrested and being held in Spencer County for Murder.
