Martin and Gibson Counties getting state bridge replacement funds

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT)  is investing in local road and bridge improvements and sidewalk projects. The department announced it’s  awarding more than $120 million in funding to 52 cities, towns and counties in rural Indiana. Among them are Martin County getting $3.3 million for a bridge replacement project on Brickyard Road over Boggs Creek.  Also receiving funds is Gibson County to replace a bridge on Moores Road.  The amount of that funding was $1.2 million.
