Restrictions on visitations at area hospitals continue due to high flu rates in the region.
No visitors with flu like symptoms are permitted at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington, Good Samaritan in Vincennes, Memorial in Jasper, Gibson General in Princeton and at all Evansville Hospitals.
The restrictions are put in place by the Community Patient Safety Coalition.
Meanwhile, the Indiana Dept. of Health says 50 Hoosiers have now died from the flu this winter. That’s five more than last week. 10 of those deaths have been in Marion County alone.
