Good Sam CEO named IHA Board Chair

The Indiana Hospital Association (IHA) has named Robert McLin IHA Board Chairman. Rob has been employed by Good Samaritan in Vincennes since 1992 and the President/CEO since 2010. Prior to his current position, he held positions at the hospital including Chief Financial Officer/Vice President, Finance, Vice President, Professional and Support Services, and Internal Auditor.

“We have a very talented and experienced IHA board, and Rob epitomizes our values as we work to improve health care in Indiana,” said Brian Tabor, IHA president. “I am excited to work with him this year, and I thank him for his dedication to health care.”

As IHA chairman, Rob will oversee Board meetings and have an active role in identifying and establishing priorities for future goals for the Association. McLin received a bachelor’s degree in accounting/management from Indiana State University and a master’s degree in business administration from Ball State University. Rob is an active participant in numerous professional and community activities.

“It’s an honor and privilege to represent IHA as Chairman this year, and I hope to further our commitment to making Indiana a better, and healthier, place to live,” said Rob McLin. “I am so encouraged by our leaders across the state, and I look forward to the great work we will do in 2020.”

The IHA Board of Directors Executive Committee also includes President Brian Tabor, IHA President; Chairman-Elect Raymond Grady, FACHE, President/CEO of Methodist Hospitals in Gary and Merrillville; Secretary/Treasurer Dennis Murphy, President/CEO of Indiana University Health in Indianapolis; and Past Chairman Jonathan Nalli, CEO of Ascension St. Vincent in Indianapolis.
